Super Size Me! I'm not talking about supersized meals here, but once again I have to point to Nordstrom as an exmaple of "supersized" rather than "downsized" customer service. If you want to know what good customer service looks like, after you work with Norma spend some time at Nordsroms. I was shopping for a dress to wear to my friend's wedding yesterday and my salesperson, Sheri, made my shopping experience so much more pleasant than it would have been at any other store. First, I had her individual attention from the moment I approached her department (on the first weekend of their anniversary sale). She didn't have too many choices in her area, so she walked around to two other departments putting together options for me. When I told her I didn't want to have bare arms, she went and got a wrap for me, without my asking. When the door to my individual dressing room kept locking on me every time I went to the 3-way mirror to get my friend's opinion on a dress, Sheri salesperson gave me her key. I went into the store not expecting to find anything, and left with not 1, but 3 dresses and a jacket. And I had a great experience to boot! Do you think I'm a captivated customer? You bet!
